A glimpse of the custom tile work in the entry way of his home will tell you everything you need to know about Michael E. Milano.
Faced with the need to repair a badly worn and neglected hardwood surface and driven by his desire to preserve the original aesthetics while adding value to his 19th century home, Michael created a masterpiece that is functional and beautiful.
Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island in 1962, Michael learned to be attentive, resourceful, and creative as the second child in a family with ten children.
At a young age, Michael learned the ways of the handyman from his father whose successful construction company Michael would eventually lead as foreman.
His love for working with people led Michael to study education at the University of Maine Fort Kent and to become a highly trained caretaker of intellectually disabled and mental health challenged children.
Michael continues the labor of love in the ongoing improvements of his beautiful 1840 home that he has owned for four years in historic Richmond, Maine.... and through his business, MILANO RENOVATION, LLC.... the team he leads is growing, and with each new opportunity presented to him, Michael grows and shines through his work.
As the team would say "We are not happy unless we meet or exceed our client's expectations"
